  The worst service I have ever had in a restaurant. We asked for a booth and there were several in the main room. We were placed in the last booth before the restroom. The floor was wet and slippery. The table was sticky. The soups and salad were literally thrown onto the table. Mostly the wait staff were nowhere to be found when we wanted silverware and refills. I had to get up to get their attention. People probably eat here because it's convenient, but I won't be back. There are much better Japanese restaurants in town.

  I always enjoy Nagoya. The entire staff is extraordinarily polite, and they work well as a team. I love the cuisine whether I'm having sushi or hibachi. Oh, and Nigori!!! ;)

  Mediocre food all around. I ordered the salmon sushi box and my salmon was hot. The whole roll was warm and gross and had no flavor at all. I tried the hibachi as well and it wasn’t very flavorful. When I asked the waitress about the sushi box she wouldn’t answer my questions and had no patience . One more thing the miso soup was soo gross everyone at my table was confused by the bath water in a bowl we were served. I’m disappointed.

  I went here for lunch with some coworkers. The soup was very good, so good I asked for seconds. A good portion of rice was served along with vegetable which were prepared nicely. Very scrumptious. The shrimp served with my rice and vegetable were 8/10, would have been 10/10 but I would have liked more. The bathroom was clean but smelled funny. Overall quite satisfactory.

  My favorite place to eat in Madison, the chefs I’ve had are very entertaining, and the food is excellent.
